01. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GrandRoyal Visa (available at visa.grandroyaltravel.com and app.visa.grandroyaltravel.com), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform. Continued use of the platform following any update to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

The platform is operated by Harold Osadebamwen Ogedegbe (trading as GrandRoyal Travel), based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

02. Description of Service

GrandRoyal Visa is an educational guidance platform that helps Nigerian and African students understand the German student visa application process. The platform provides:

• A structured 8-step visa application checklist
• A personal document tracker and progress dashboard
• AI-powered eligibility and route guidance tools
• An interview practice module
• Curated resources and affiliate service recommendations
• An email newsletter with visa guidance content

GrandRoyal Visa is a self-service educational tool. It does not submit visa applications, book embassy appointments, represent users before any government authority, or act as a visa agency in any form.

03. Not Legal Advice

Visa requirements, embassy procedures, and German immigration law are subject to change at any time. While we work to keep all guidance accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee that the information on this platform reflects the most current official requirements at the time you read it.

You are solely responsible for verifying all information with official sources, including the German Federal Foreign Office, the relevant German embassy or consulate, and the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

GrandRoyal Visa is not a licensed immigration advisor, solicitor, or legal practitioner. If you require qualified legal or immigration advice, you must consult a licensed professional.

04. Eligibility

To use GrandRoyal Visa, you must be at least 16 years of age. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

The platform is primarily designed for Nigerian and African students applying for a German student visa (Type D National Visa). While others may use the platform, some content may not be applicable to your specific situation.

05. User Accounts

Account creation

You may use certain features of the platform without creating an account. Access to the personal dashboard, checklist tracker, and AI tools requires account creation. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@grandroyaltravel.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

One account per user

Each user may maintain one account. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions is prohibited.

Account deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, all personal data associated with your account will be removed within 7 business days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

06. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for its intended educational purpose. You must not:

• Use the platform to submit fraudulent or misleading information to any government authority
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform in bulk
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform content without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Upload or share any content that is false, defamatory, or harmful to others
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to access the platform without authorisation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use rules without prior notice.

07. AI-Powered Tools

AI tools may occasionally produce inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete responses. You should always cross-check any AI-generated guidance against official German embassy requirements before making decisions or submitting documents.

By using the AI features, you acknowledge that:

• AI output does not constitute legal or immigration advice
• Results may not reflect the most current embassy requirements
• You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your visa application
• GrandRoyal Visa accepts no liability for any outcome resulting from reliance on AI-generated content

08. Paid Tiers and Billing

Free tier

The core checklist, document tracker, and educational content are free to use with no time limit. We will always maintain a meaningful free tier.

Paid plans

Optional paid plans provide access to additional features as described on the Pricing page. Prices are displayed in EUR. Billing is processed monthly unless otherwise stated.

No visa outcome guarantee

No paid plan, feature, or service offered on this platform guarantees a visa approval, appointment slot, or any specific outcome from the German embassy or any other authority. Purchasing a paid plan does not create any relationship with the German government or embassy.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan within 14 days of your first payment, contact us at hello@grandroyaltravel.com for a full refund. Refund requests after 14 days are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation

You may cancel a paid plan at any time. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not charge cancellation fees.

09. Affiliate Links

Some links on this platform — particularly to blocked account providers such as Fintiba and Expatrio, and to insurance providers such as Feather — are affiliate links. If you click these links and sign up for a service, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate commissions help fund the platform and keep the core service free. Our editorial guidance is not influenced by the existence of affiliate arrangements. We only recommend services we would genuinely recommend regardless of any commission.

All affiliate links are clearly identified on the pages where they appear.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including the 8-step checklist, tool interfaces, written guidance, brand name, logo, and code — is the intellectual property of GrandRoyal Travel and protected under German and international copyright law.

You may save, print, or share individual checklist items for personal use. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit any substantial portion of the platform content without prior written permission.

User-generated content (such as information you enter into forms or tracking fields) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of data you input into your personal dashboard.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GrandRoyal Travel and its operator shall not be liable for:

• Visa refusals, delays, or other decisions made by the German embassy or any government authority
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated guidance or any content on the platform
• Data loss resulting from technical failures outside our control
• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the platform
• Actions taken based on information provided on this platform without independent verification

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under German law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these terms or are using the platform in a manner harmful to others or to the platform itself.

You may stop using the platform at any time. If you have a paid subscription, you may request account closure by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including the Not Legal Advice disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law sections) will continue to apply.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring claims before the courts of your country of residence.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not currently obligated to participate in such procedures.
